Bev's Reflection:
It takes only approximately twenty-one days (a mere three weeks) to form a habit. When you ride a bike, drive a car, or type text messages with your thumbs, you do these things by sheer muscle memory. Out of force of habit—things that you've done so often they become nearly second nature, almost like breathing.
Habits become hooked into our awareness—something we do automatically. Good habits...and bad ones. By practicing the "fruit of the Spirit"—in the verses above—these attributes eventually become part of the fiber of our Christian character, as we emulate our perfect example, the Lord Jesus Christ. His Holy Spirit leads us, becoming our great helper, as we grow in the grace and knowledge of our heavenly Father. Let's walk closely with Him through all the days of our lives.
